Upcoming Summer 2008 Japanese Drama

Some Spring 2008 Japanese Dramas are coming to an end soon. So let's see what are the upcoming Japanese Drama in Summer 2008. Below are the dramas that i might want to watch. haha.

1. The first one of course is the drama that I have introduced before - Code Blue.
Code Blue [Thursday 22:00] - starting from July 3

Cast: Yamashita Tomohisa, Aragaki Yui, Toda Erika

2. Maou [Friday 22:00]- starting from July 4

The remake of Korea Drama - "The Devil" (didn't watch this drama, haha). Is a suspense drama. A drama between a detective and the "devil". Ikuta Toma is one of the lead roles.

3. Shibatora [Tuesday 21:00] - starting from July 8
A comedy drama. The story follows a rookie cop named Taketora Shibata who, despite his childish looks of a middle-schooler, fights against juvenile crime and has the ability to see anything at a crime scene. Nevertheless, it's still a struggle to rise out of the ranks and become a real detective. Kokike Teppei (from Gokusen 2) acts as the rookie cop.

4. Tomorrow [Sunday 21:00] - July
A medical drama. Takenouchi Yutaka acts as a surgeon who retired 8 years ago to work for the municipal government. However, he ends up returning to the profession to help a local hospital on the verge of bankruptcy. Kanno plays a co-worker, taking on the role of a nurse for the first time in her acting career.

5. Koizora [Saturday 20:00] - July

yeap a drama version of Koizora is coming out. The casts list is not out yet. I think drama version might not be as good as the movie since the rating of the movie was quite good. Hopefully the casts are as good as the casts in the movie. Perhaps the rating will be good if the casts are the same.. haha.. but the possibility should be quite low.

6. Seigi no Mikata [Wednesday 22:00] - starting from July 9

A comedy drama. 15-year-old Yoko, a young girl who is constantly tormented by her self-centered and devilish older sister Makiko (Yamada Yu), who works for a government office after having graduated from a famous university. But despite her ill nature, Makiko's actions tend to somehow make things better for those around her, causing others to praise her as an "ally of justice." Shida Mirai acts as Yoko. (I have not watched 14 Sai no Haha.. will find sometimes to watch it.. a high rating drama in 2006.. yah im slow.. haha now is already 2008)

There are still more upcoming dramas in Summer 2008 that i have not listed out because the one that i have listed out are those that I am already interested to watch it. The rest perhaps i will watch the episode 1 before coming to a conclusion. haha...
